Thursday Play
Sign Up Process
Our sign up process is through Golf Genius. You will get an email asking if you want to play. Reply "playing", then wait for next page and reply "Confirm." You will get a follow up email showing the pairings and tee times a day or two before Thursday. You can use the same e-mail to cancel if you become unable to play after signing up. Sign up closes at 3 PM on Monday before play day. It is necessary that you download Golf Genius app to your phone for scoring.
As soon as you arrive at the club, go to restaurant and check in with Tournament Committee person. Put your $5 entry fee in the large envelope and check off your name on the attached sheet. Pick up any scorecards for your group. Remember to bring $1 for 50/50 to support our charity fund (optional.)
Pace of Play
A quick reminder that pace of play is important. Please make sure you keep the group ahead of you in sight.
We play "Net Double Bogey"
If total strokes don't matter in the game, we play “Net Double Bogey.” Net double bogey is equal to a double bogey (Par + 2) plus the handicap strokes (dots shown for each hole on scorecard.) Once you reach that number, it is your score and you can pick up and move on to the next hole. Example information is below.
